Grunge abstract brush set

From the looks of the current poll results and the slight popularity of my last Gimp post, it looks like many of you are dying for more gimp resources. So I decided to release a brush set. It’s basically 7 abstract shapes with grunge textures sprinkled on, hence the the incredibly unique name =/ I’d recommend using them on edges or corners of your images, or as faded background images.

On the subject of the license: Since I’m really just starting out in the graphic design realm and forcing people to give credit would just get them annoyed, I’ll say that these brushes are free to use. Credit to me or a link back won’t be necessary, but if you’re feeling unusually generous feel free to add one!

you do realize that gimp is tied with your life so i wouldn’t really consider it 2 be voted by a lot of people

2. Very true, but many people have personally asked me for more gimp-related articles. Besides, I was the third person to vote for “Your Life” and I believe your opinions should count more.
3. If you’re looking for opinions on sports, why don’t you write them yourself? Aren’t you the jock?

I can’t open the file in gimp?

You have to move it to your brushes folder for GIMP manually. I wish they came up with an easier way to install them though =/
